Goodness, its been a while.. Although, I haven’t been totally slacking.. The past weeks have been extremely busy, rewarding and exciting for me. I went back to Asia and worked on my first shipment of Ren Duvet, yes, you heard it right, the Ren Duvet, my new business and passion in life! It is an amazing feeling to work on my own business. To develop an idea and be able to see it through in practice one step at a time has been both unbelievable and incredible.
But really, before all this, I really should back up a month to where the Ren Duvet venture all began. During Alex’ parents’ trip to China in October, I discovered the lack of knowledge, as well as the apparent appreciation for silk duvets among the Western world. Silk duvet is such a commonly celebrated part of bedding in China. This was clearly an opportunity where the East can meet the West. Since this discovery, I’ve found a silk duvet factory with the help of my uncle and aunt, designed my very own Ren Duvet logo, worked on the Ren Duvet website with a lot of help from Alex… Finally and most excitingly, I got a sample made, and also 36 duvet products made just weeks ago. Guess what else? I already sold 2 duvets!!! 
A big smile for that. Santa’s nice to me!! hehe….
Anyhow, I must rush to a Christmas party now. Merry merry to all!
